1. The Passion Economy and the Future of Work
I found this article after reading another one of Li Jin's articles, 1,000 True Fans? Try 100. Li is an a16z partner and her writing is fantastic.
I personally love this article because it sums up exactly what I'm trying to do with Superpath: create a lean, valuable business built on great customer relationships.
New digital platforms enable people to earn a livelihood in a way that highlights their individuality. These platforms give providers greater ability to build customer relationships, increased support in growing their businesses, and better tools for differentiating themselves from the competition. In the process, they’re fueling a new model of internet-powered entrepreneurship.
2. Sprout Social’s 2020 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Report
I really recommend checking out this report. It's so good to see a publicly traded company be so transparent about their shortfalls when it comes DEI. On a side note, the content marketer in me knows that this was huge and challenging project. Kudos to Sprout Social for doing this.
3. Editorial Strategist with a $112,000/year salary
Here's a new post from our $100k Club 💰series. These are anonymous interviews with content folks making six figures. Each one is honest, raw and revealing. It's some of the best career advice I've ever come across.
