Hey Everyone,
Hope you're having a great week. Here are a few things I've been reading, writing and pondering lately. Enjoy!
1. Here Are Three Ways to Improve Your Keyword Research
This is among the most immediately useful posts we’ve ever done at Animalz. Kudos to my colleague Ryan Law for these helpful tips on improving the black hole that is keyword research.
I just finished up Brad Stone’s excellent book about the history of Amazon. Some parts are inspiring, some parts are insane but all of it is entertaining. Side note: I did not buy think book on Amazon, I borrowed this book from the library. S/o Libby!
If you need more Amazon, Vox’ Land of the Giants podcast is really good.
3. An oral history of the AIM away message (by the people who were there)
This is such a cool piece from Invision. If you’re old like me, this will feel all too familiar. Kudos to the team at Invision for trying something totally different (and killing it).
5. Random Links
- From the WaPo: What does America have against vacation?
- ICYMI: Here’s my presentation for Forget the Funnel on proving that content works.
- Required for all writers: The Em Dash Divides
- Just because: Here are 26 unexpected uses for 3D printing
- YouTube video of the week: Gary Clark Jr. performing his song “Our Love”
Have a great weekend!
