How to make better decisions: Let someone else make them for you

Hey Everyone,

Hope you're having a great week. Here are a few things I've been reading, writing and pondering lately. Enjoy!

Is your content getting the reach it deserves?

Creating great content isn’t easy. You put in time and effort to understand your audience, and create valuable content that they’ll love. How do you ensure your content reaches them?

Meet Zoho Social, the social media management platform for businesses and agencies. Schedule your content to reach your audience at the right time, get notified whenever they engage with it, and create reports that let you track how your content is performing across social channels. Get started today.

1. Why It’s Easier to Make Decisions for Someone Else

This is a really interesting article on the psychology of decision-making. Two-takeaways: find a mentor and consider becoming a consultant. (I’m only half-joking.)

When we are brainstorming ideas to other people’s problems, we’re inspired; we have a free flow of ideas to spread out on the table without judgment, second-guessing, or overthinking.

2. What Content Marketing Metrics Actually Matter?

This is a great post from ActiveCampaign’s Benyamin Elias. He talks about the numbers, but also describes why they are so imperfect. I really enjoyed this one.

3. Krit’s 2018 Year-in-Review

I’m a sucker for posts like this. Andrew Askins generously shares all kinds of useful lessons about the company’s growth in 2018, including the financials.

4. Tweet of the Week

This thread is just too good.

Have a great weekend!
