I'm not sure exactly what to make of this article, which details journalist Dan Lyons' year at Hubspot. Is it a cynical look at the tech culture? Or a realistic take on everything wrong with startups?
Either way, it's fascinating and sparked some good conversation on Reddit and Hacker News.
Arriving [at Hubspot] feels like landing on some remote island where a bunch of people have been living for years, in isolation, making up their own rules and rituals and religion and language—even, to some extent, inventing their own reality.
